Studio Monitoring That Also Belongs Beside Your TV, Console and Desktop

C5BT combines a 5 inch two-way active monitor design with the connections modern rooms actually use. Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, optical digital input, balanced TRS, RCA and a dedicated subwoofer output make one compact pair useful for music creation, desktop listening, gaming and direct TV playback.

One Monitor Pair Across Music, Gaming and Everyday Listening

C5BT can sit at the center of a compact room where the same speakers handle an audio interface, Bluetooth devices, compatible TVs and gaming hardware. Optical, analog and wireless inputs let the system change roles without changing speakers.

One pair, more sources

Connect the Gear You Actually Use

C5BT is built to move between studio monitor, desktop speaker and entertainment-system duties without requiring a separate receiver for every source.

Wireless

Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX

Stream from phones, tablets and compatible computers when convenience matters and you do not need a cable across the room.

Digital

Optical input

Connect compatible TVs, game consoles and other digital sources directly to the monitor system without adding an A/V receiver.

Studio

Balanced TRS input

Connect an audio interface, mixer or other balanced studio source when C5BT is being used as a compact production monitor.

Everyday audio

RCA + subwoofer output

Add common unbalanced sources through RCA and expand the system later with a powered subwoofer through the dedicated sub output.

More than a studio desk

A Compact Monitor Pair for Music, Games and Everyday Media

The combination of optical input, Bluetooth and analog connections makes C5BT useful in rooms where the same speakers need to handle a workstation during the day and entertainment sources later. Optical is particularly useful for a clean digital connection from compatible TVs and gaming hardware.

Home recording Balanced TRS connectivity for interfaces and compact production rigs.

Gaming Digital optical connection from compatible consoles, displays or gaming systems.

TV and movies Connect a compatible television directly and avoid a separate space-consuming receiver.

Wireless playback Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX for convenient music playback from compatible devices.

40 watts total amplification Two 20 watt amplifier channels power the active monitor pair.

54 Hz to 22 kHz Full-range desktop playback with the option to add a subwoofer when deeper bass is required.

Subwoofer-ready A dedicated subwoofer output makes it easy to expand the system for movies, games or low-end monitoring.

Proven acoustic design

Simple Driver Materials, Carefully Integrated

C5BT uses conventional materials chosen for damping, reliability and coherent behavior rather than exotic materials selected mainly for specification-sheet appeal.

5 inch composite paper woofer

The low-frequency driver uses a composite paper cone, high-temperature voice coil and damped rubber surround to provide controlled bass and midrange reproduction.

1 inch PEI tweeter

The PEI diaphragm tweeter is mounted in a purpose-designed waveguide to improve off-axis coverage and support a coherent stereo presentation.

4.5 kHz crossover

The two-way system crosses between the woofer and tweeter at 4.5 kHz.

MDF cabinet

The vinyl-laminated high-acoustic-efficiency MDF enclosure provides a solid platform for the drivers and rear bass-reflex system.

Flexible signal path

From Source to Speakers Without Extra Boxes

Choose the connection that matches the source, then use the C5BT pair as the playback system. Add a powered subwoofer later if the room or content needs more low-frequency extension.
